
Counter-Strike 2 Major Update: Premier Season 2 Launches, Train Returns to Active Duty
Premier Season Two has launched with matchmaking resuming. Season One players with CS Rating will receive a commemorative medal featuring detailed statistics. All players must recalibrate their CS Rating by winning 10 matches.
Train joins the Active Duty map pool, while Vertigo has been removed.
Gameplay Updates:
- M4A4 price reduced to $2,900
- FAMAS accuracy improved and price reduced to $1,950
- MP9, MP5-SD, and MP7 crouching accuracy reduced
- AUG/SG scope dot adjusted for better long-range visibility
UI Improvements:
- New dynamic radar zoom that adjusts to include teammates, bomb, and detected elements
- Updated grenade order in spectator UI to match weapon selection
- Increased C4 visibility in UI
Train Map Changes:
- Removed boost angle from Long Dog to Bombsite A
- Fixed lighting artifacts on double-sided materials
Technical Updates:
- Added fallback support for incomplete demo files
- Fixed R8 Revolver secondary fire sell exploit
- Counter-strafe summaries now available in game server logs via log address
