CS2 players can preview and test different knives using specific console commands in the game. Here's how to do it:

Enable Developer Console

1. Open Game Settings in CS2 main menu
2. Set "Enable Developer Console" to Yes
3. Press the ~ (tilde) key to open console

Basic Setup Commands

1. Enter these commands in console:

• sv_cheats true
• mp_drop_knife_enable true

2. Drop your current weapons using G key
3. Move away from buy area
4. Point crosshair at floor

Knife Selection Command Use this format: subclass_change [number]

• 503: Classic Knife

• 506: Gut Knife

• use weapon_knife: Quick switch to knife
• give weapon_knife: Obtain a knife (works in supported game modes only)

Remember: These commands only work in training mode or with cheats enabled. They cannot be used in competitive matches or official servers.
