Arms Race Game Mode in CS2: Maps, Location & How to Play
Arms Race is a fast-paced game mode in Counter-Strike 2 where players progress through different weapons by securing kills. The ultimate goal is to reach and win with the Golden Knife.
To find Arms Race in CS2, go to "Matchmaking" in the main menu and select it under casual game modes. The mode is currently playable on three maps:
- Baggage: A compact airport baggage claim setting
- Shoots: A Mexican-themed map with Ancient-style assets
- Pool Day: A community map centered around a swimming pool
The mode features instant respawns and weapon progression, making it perfect for practicing different weapons without affecting your competitive rank.
Tips for winning Arms Race:
- Stay aggressive and keep moving
- Use knife kills to disrupt opponents' progress
- Practice with unfamiliar weapons
- Learn map layouts and spawn points
- When reaching the Golden Knife, focus on close-quarter ambushes

Current State:

- Classic maps like Lake and Safehouse haven't been ported yet
- Future updates may bring additional maps
