Train Makes a Triumphant Return to CS2 with Major Gameplay Updates
The classic Counter-Strike map Train has returned to CS2 with significant updates and a fresh atmosphere. Set in a rainy evening environment with dim lighting, the map features several structural changes to enhance gameplay.
Key changes to Train include:
- A site modifications with Heaven removal and merged Ivy access routes
- Expanded Popdog corridor connecting directly to B Ramp
- Removed trains near CT Spawn for more open space
- Enhanced indoor lighting and atmospheric effects
A new Map Guide feature allows players to create and view grenade line-ups, with Train including four preset Terrorist strategies.

- New maps: Basalt, Edin (Competitive/Casual/Deathmatch), Palais, Whistle (Wingman)
- Damage Prediction system for more responsive shooting feedback
- Overpass visibility improvements
