CS:GO Profile Rank System: A Complete Guide
Profile Ranks are a progression system introduced in CS:GO on May 26, 2015, and carried over to Counter-Strike 2. Players earn experience points (XP) by playing on official servers to increase their Profile Rank.
Experience Points System:
- Earned XP: Based on performance and game mode multiplier
- Weekly XP Bonus: 5,000 XP pool (3,500 XP at 3x multiplier, 1,500 XP decreasing to 1x)
- Maximum XP per game: Capped amount excluding bonus multiplier
- XP Penalty: Reduced multiplier after earning too much XP in a week
