After intense group stage competition at IEM Katowice 2025, six teams remain in contention for the prestigious trophy, $400,000 prize pool, and VRS points at the iconic Spodek Arena.

Team Vitality secured the first semifinal spot by dominating Group A. Led by ZywOo's stellar 37-frag performance and enhanced by ropz's addition, they lost just one map en route to their bye. Their decisive victories over 3DMAX, FaZe Clan, and Virtus.pro demonstrated championship-caliber form.

Virtus.pro, under new IGL electroNic, claimed their playoff spot by defeating Eternal Fire 2-1. Newcomers FL4MUS and ICY will make their Big Event playoff debuts against Team Spirit in the quarterfinals.

Eternal Fire secured Group A's final spot through a remarkable run, highlighted by XANTARES's 49-kill performance in a triple-overtime victory over FaZe Clan on Nuke.

NAVI dominated Group B, securing the second semifinal spot. Their victory over Shanghai Major champions Team Spirit showcased clutch performances from jL, suggesting a return to their Major-winning form.

The MongolZ and Team Spirit rounded out the playoff teams, with Spirit particularly impressive in their bounce-back victory over GamerLegion.
