Eight teams have secured their spots at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 through the American Regional Major Ranking (RMR), with Wildcard Gaming and MIBR leading the pack with perfect 3-0 records.

Wildcard Gaming, climbing nearly 40 ranking positions since summer, impressed with victories over Team Liquid, paiN Gaming, and 9z Team. MIBR matched this performance, defeating KRÜ Esports, Imperial, and Complexity.

The Swiss System format produced several upsets, with established teams like Team Liquid and FURIA Esports stumbling in early rounds. However, both teams recovered to secure qualification.

The final day saw FURIA defeating 9z Team and M80 to claim their spot, while Imperial Esports made a remarkable comeback from a 1-2 record to qualify.

The Shanghai Major begins November 30, with European RMR tournaments still ongoing to determine the remaining participants.
